Kalimantan / Nabucco's Nunukan Island Resort
To the east of Borneo/Indonesia, the third largest island in the world, lies the Maratua Atoll and its lagoon, typical of Indonesia’s constituent islands that are minor in size. On the very southern-eastern tip of the lagoon are a few untouched islands and it is here, on Pulau Nunukan that Extra Divers are proud to introduce the in August 2008 opened 'Nabucco’s Nunukan Island Resort'.
The resort is perfectly nestled into the outstanding nature, not a single tree has been cut down for the buildings, it's all built by ecological standpoints: the hot water is produced by solar energy, ecological sewage treatment- and composting treatment facilities and rainwater collection system guarantee best safe for the beautiful nature surrounding the island.
